ABOUT UNIVERSAL ARTIST MOVEMENT

Percussionist: William Harris, aka TruthMaze, is a cornerstone of the Twin Cities music scene
and a major contributor and pioneer of Minneapolis hip hop culture. This native of Minneapolis,
Minnesota was a natural drummer from birth, which would later connect to his uncanny skills as
a verbal percussionist known The Unstoppable B-Fresh who started performing in 1984. Truth
Maze also recorded with Brown Mark of Prince’s Revolution, as well as guest appearances and
a host of other compilation projects. Oya’s Radio is Truth’s newest visionary musical quest.

Guitar: Jimmy Bayard is a premier electric guitarist from Houston, Texas. When he was up and
coming, he often played on stage in nightclubs around the area with the help of his musician
parents. Jimmy picked up the violin around age twelve, and just about every other stringed
instrument including the cello, viola, double bass, mandolin, dobro, banjo, and steel guitar before
finding his home as a guitarist. With no formal instruction, his mastery on guitar has afforded him
the opportunity to contribute on numerous records as a session guitarist for Mercury Records and
performances all over the United States.
